Host a Coffee

Join us in spreading the joys of the written word!
“Coffees” are a wonderful way for Literature for All of Us to make new friends and raise needed funds for our book group programs. Usually held in private homes, these fun and intimate gatherings feature a presentation by the organization’s leadership, followed by an inspirational poetry reading. Past coffee guests have remarked how wonderful it is to hear the creative voices of our program members and get to know them as the strong young poets that they are.

Coffees can be hosted by one or more co-hosts who work with our staff to develop a guest list and invitation materials, and coordinate RSVP lists. Hostesses also provide refreshments for the evening.

These intimate events are key to our agency’s growth and success. We recognize the generosity of our coffee hostesses with a special gift, as well as acknowledgement in the agency’s newsletter and Annual Report.
