Gabriela Garay

Book Group Leader

Gabriela is an educator, youth worker, writer and crafter who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Latinx Studies with a minor in Indigenous studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. In her personal and professional work, Gaby seeks to build relationships, collective healing, agency, and power within marginalized communities.

She believes storytelling, writing, and art are crucial tools that bring transformative change and is excited to further this work as a Book Group Leader.
